A FUNDRAISING ADVENTURE
BENEFITing LEAP
Physically and mentally this adventure forced participants to support and encourage each other to accomplish something never done before—navigate the greatest stretches of the Northwest’s premier rivers.
Starting with the original wild and scenic river, the Rogue, then followed in succession to the North Umpqua, the stoic Mackenzie where the drift boat was invented, then the popular Deschutes, followed by the majestic John Day and Grande Ronde, and then onto the canyons of the Lower Salmon where LEAP programs are held. The final night was held under the stars in a canyon over 3000 feet deep where the beauty of the Northwest was on full display.
